I know I am biased but the latest Acid Dragon was a cover-to-cover read for me. It starts with Thierry’s usual insightful editorial: never afraid to speak his mind about his passion for music. Then there is a very interesting interview with Cuban prog rock band ANIMA MUNDI and one with HUMBERTO MANDULEY, a strong presence in Cuban rock history. There is also a revealing interview with FREDERICK L’EPEE (the full version) and with BARRY LAMB of FALLING A RECORDS. Thierry also interviews JUAN BARRENECHEA of MYLODON RECORDS, a small Prog label regularly reviewed on DISS. Aside from all that: an article on WARHORSE and detailed reviews of many albums including STEVE HACKETT, VAN DER GRAAF and STEVEN WILSON. Concert reviews include ANGE and RICK WAKEMAN – we do get around! Stunning artwork also by Stephen Gilbert-Rivera., as you can see.
All for 4 euros or $4 or £3 for this issue or take out a subscription and support independent progressively minded music by visiting the ACID DRAGON website or contacting us to put you in touch with Thierry.
